Preparations for Entrance Exams

Igor Django Molnar - After completing the Isidor Bajić High School of Music, he studied composition at the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad, under Professors Rudolf Bruči and Miroslav Štatkić. In 1991, he enrolled in jazz studies at the academy in Budapest. He is a licensed instructor for the British A.B.R.S.M. in Southeast Europe. Over the last fifteen years, he has successfully prepared numerous jazz students who passed entrance exams at some of the most renowned European and American jazz academies, such as those in Graz, Budapest, Amsterdam, and Boston...



As part of the preparation for entrance exams, Igor Django Molnar follows the specific plans and programs of the academies to which the applicants wish to apply. The class schedule is organized according to mutual agreement. The duration of each session is at least 90 minutes, during which the material outlined in the entrance exam program for the desired academy is covered.Most entrance exams require the submission of a preliminary recording, consisting of at least three compositions. This recording can be done in Igor Django Molnar's home studio. To date, all students who have been accepted into the mentioned jazz academies have also had a recording session as part of their preparations, which is not charged separately. It is preferred that payment for these lessons is made in accordance with the completion of the sessions.
